'County Agent W. H. Lyne and I assistant agent Ben Weddle of Rappahannock, and Jack Brown of Lees. burg were it* Blacksburg for a short . —course at V.P.I. last week. Mrs. Brown and son, Stevie spent the week at “Rock Villa” with Mr.. Brown's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Brown returned to their home in Leesburg on Sunday. Mrs. Annie Taylor Bruce was a guest last Thursday of Mrs. T. T. Taylor at “Linger Longer.” On Friday evening, Mrs. Bruce went to Front Royal where she was a weekend guest of her son and daughter-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Bruce. Mrs. Bruce, will visit other members of her family in Viscose City, before returning to her home.
Mrs. Lester Dodson and her small daughter, Dorothy Lee, returned on Monday from a visit with her sister, Mrs. Johnnie Black in Maryland.
Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily have returned from a three week trip to 6a. and had as their guests from Tuesday until Friday of last week, Miss Esther Marsh and Miss Wilma Karschefsky of Indiana. - Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman Jr. and daughter and son, Mrs.- Betty Jane' III of Richmond came for a week-end visit at the home of their parents. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman Sr., David Chapman and his daughter and son were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Mr. Chapman, his sons and grandson atterided,'the ballgame on Sunday afternoon.*
