She was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. "Edward Freeman of Washington, in —the home of her hrother-in-1 aw and— sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Copeland at 522 7th St. N.E., Washington, D. C. She was married by her pastor, Rev. Robert C. Davis of Washington, 3s). C. The bride wore a street length dress of blue taffeta trimmed v<ith pink and she carried a bouquet of pink roses. She wore seven strands of pearls. Her Matron of Honor was Mrs. -Ella May Carrcnt. She wore a matching dress of the bride. The reception was given in The home of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Copeland, given try her sisters and brothers. The ■couple will make their home in Washington, D. C.
The Homecoming Day at First ’Baptist church, Sunday,' August 2 was quite successful. Rev. R. C. Davis preached in the morning There was tone candidate for baptising, Miss Prances Gatewood. Lunch was served "by the members at noon. Rev. Anderson of Washington, D. C. preached rfhe memorial sermon in the afternoon.
