AUXILIARY MEETING

The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rappahannock Fire Company was opened 7:30 on Monday evening with a statement quoted by Mrs. ®. R. Cox, president from a recent gathering of college president. Seven of these 25 presidents rated loyalty as the greatest qualification one can possess.

The nominating committee reported that Mrs. Bruce Bowie had accepted the presidency of the auxiliary. The seven members present expressed their appreciation to retiring president, Mrs. B. R. Cox for her great loyalty to the auxiliary, and praised her untiring efforts that were evident in the worthwhile projects accomplished under her leadership. To Mrs. Bowie, the members declared their appreciation for her acceptance and pledged their support.

A joint meeting with the firemen was planned for Monday, Oct 5 at 7:30. AH auxiliary members and firemen are urged to be present M- '
