AUXILIARY MEETING The ladies auxiliary of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department held their regular monthly meeting at the fire house last Tuesday night. Plans were? discussed for the Firemen's Carnival, September 18 and 19. There were two new members, Mr?. Arthur Woodward and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scott and children of Akron, Ohio spent last week at the home of Mr. Scott’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Edd Scott.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Streets of Merri field spent last week end with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mozingo.
