Engagement Announcement
The Reverend and Mrs. Arthur LeBaron Ribble of Boyce, Clarke County, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Beverley Deane, to James Fletcher Massie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Hampton Massie, Jr., of Washington, Rappahannock County.
The wedding will take place Saturday, November 14, at Meade 'Memorial Episcopal church, White Post.
Students Leave For
Fall Term
Among the students of Rappahannock who are leaving for college are: Dave Miller, Newbill Miller, Magruder Keyser and George Pullen for VPI; Thomas B. Reid for North Carolina State; Miss Jo Ellen Worth; Miss Phyllis Updke and Miss Betty Snead for Madison College; and Robert L. Massie Jr., for Richmond University. Carlyle Lea will return to Augusta Military Academy and John Turner will enter R.M.A. at Front Royal.
George Lawrence Completes
Repair Course At Ft. Lee
Pvt. George F. Lawrence, whose parents reside at Amissville, Va., graduate from the General Equipment Repair Course offered by the 'Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Va., on September 12.
A graduate of Rappahannock High School, he entered the service in March.
He has been attending the Quartermaster School for the past four months.
