“Operation Skyglow” Bursts
Over Culpeper Nov. 13
Operation Skyglow, the official turning on of the recently installed florescent street lights on Davis St. in ‘Culpeper, will cast its beams over the skies next Frdiay night,'November 13. Three grand prizes, a 17” TV set, a clock radio and a steam iron will be given away. Brunswick stew is to be served to the crowd, expecting to reach 6000. The stew and the entire program will be free to visitors to the town for the celebration.
A Colonial setting will prevail . with dainty figures clad in costume, dancing the Virginia Reel. Camera crews from CBS and NBS will cover the operation for television. Special bargains are planned by the —Culpeper - merchants who- will keep their stores open until the night program begins.
