BRIDGE PARTIES

Mrs. Lock Burford entertained three tables of bridge Saturday evening. Her guests were Mrs. O. W. Gilbert, Miss Minnie Williams, Mrs. Marvin Bradford Jr., Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Thomas Eastham, Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. Reba Dabney, Mrs. William Moore, Mrs. Claude Cook, Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr., Mrs. David Corbin, and Mrs. Paul Miller. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. C rlvn for high score, and Mrs. William Moore for traveling. Mrs. Paul Miller received the consolation prize.

Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr. entertained the Washington Bridge Club on Thursday evening at her home, “Lookout Heights.” Her guests were Mrs. R. L. Massie, Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh, Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. D. D. Miller, and Mrs. T. C. Lea. After the game a salad course wa< served by the hostess and prizes given to Mrs. R. L. Massie for high sctre, Mrs. Turner, hingo, Mrs. Price, traveling and Mrs. Miller, consolation.
