Rev. Thach, who has been recently assigned as pastor of the M.E. church on this charge, preached at 11 a.m. on Sunday and with Mrs. Thach was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown, who also had with them for the week end their daughter, Mrs. Harry Smith of Washington, D. C., Miss Holly Updike was a week end guest of Miss Dolly Smith.
Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were their daughters, Mrs. Thomas Cozzo, Miss Joan Aylor and Bill Sheppard of Washington, D. C. Miss Betty Snead, her roommateat Madison College, and Miss ArnjenAine Leggett of Fairfax Hall College and John Peyton Snead IV of Charlottesville spent the week end with Dr. and Mrs. J. P. Snead.
Mr. and Mrs, Aubrey H. Keysor were dinner guests on Monday of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood at “Erin.”
