There will be a religious movie at First Baptist Church, Friday night, November 20 at 8 p.m. The name of the picture is King of Kings. The entire life of Christ is depicted.
This movie is for the benefit of the King of Judah Rally, sponsored by Mrs. Minnie Davis.
There will be a Sacred Concert at night, November 15 at 8 p.m. for the First Baptist Church, Sunday, benefit of King of Judah. Everyone is invited to say a Bible verse and to take part.
The P. T. A. will meet at the Scrabble School, Thursday night. All parents are invited to attend.
SCRABBLE SCHOOL NEWS
We regret the death of Gene Williams on October 29. He was a sixth grade classmate of Scrabble School. Cooperative, quiet, and well-liked by all of us. ,
At the time, he was acting < as Ichabold Crane in “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” which was to be given the night of his death.
Gene held many responsible duties at school. We miss him very much.
ELECTS OFFICERS
The 4th grade organized themselves during the English period, on Friday, October 30. Rose Wallace was voted in a class chairman; Georgia Jackson, class secretary; Stoney Frye, assistant secretary; and Reed Frye, class treasurer.
