April Rains Pour
Onto Rappahannock
"The rains came’ to Rappahannock County this month df April with a ver.genance for their months of absence last summer. Ruby Jenkins, official rainfall observer, reported today that 5.03 inches of rain have already fallen in the town of Washington during this month. Similar high reports have been received from individuals in other sections of the county. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Atkins of Sperryville stated that 6 inches of rain and hail stood in some parts of the lawn at "Honey Suckle Glen.’ Amissville reports a less heavy rainfall. V
