The Washington Monarchs will meet the Alexandria A C's in a hard fighting game Sunday afternoon at 2:30 on the Pine Knot Inn Ball Diamond.
Fort Bragg, N. C.—Army Sgt. Alvin D. Wallace, 21, son of Mr. and —Mrs. Clarence M. Wallace,' Wood- - ville, is serving with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment as part of the enemy-agressor force for Exercise Flash Dura in the Fort Bragg-Camp Mackall area of North Carolina.
The large-scale maneuver, which started April 19, will test the tactics and training of more than 60,000 soldiers in a simulated * battle involving the Army’s newest and most powerful warfare devices.
Sergeant Wallace, an assistant .motor sergeant in- the lst Battalion Headquarters Company of the rergiment from Camp Pickett, Va., entered the Army in January 1951.
