Carolyn Williams, daughter-oF Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Williams of Chester Gap, has been' chosen 4-H’cr of the month for June.
A 4-H’er for four years Carolyn has completed six projects. She especially likes the foods projects completed “Food for Pep,” “Breads and Meal Preparation” and winping die county medal in food preparation and in breads. Carolyn has been junior leader for Huntly Community for two summers aiding her mother, 4-H HaOtr in the
Carolyp is an active member of her dub having laid the office in Reager Club of Secretary and Vice-President with the responsibility of program each month. She - served on the school committee this year and helped in getting library books and playground - equipment for Flint Hill school. ■=
Carolyn wa$ one of the leading characters in the evening’s entertainment “The Mixed Up Kid,” presented by Reader 4-H dub in May and coached by their leader, Mrs. B. W. Williams. Carolyn - was soloist for the blackfaced act, “Old Black Joe,” and took part in the Virginia Red.
Carolyn was one of the’ graduates from Flint Hill School taking part in the graduation exercises singing “Jeannie With the Light Brown Hair/’ "
