Promotion of attendance is placed in the hands of the Executive Board, District Committees, Commissioner Staff, Institutional Representatives, and Professional Staff.---—In

this connection many prominent visitors and gudts are expected from all parts of the Eastern Seaboard as well as from the six counties which comprise the Shenandoah Area of the Boy Scouts of America. These are the following Virginia counties: Warren, Frederick, Clarke, Rappahannock, Shenandoah, and Page, plus these West Virginia counties: Morgan, Berkeley, and Jefferson.

Ben Belchic, of Winchester, is president * of the Shenandoah Council. Under his direction are 600 Scouter$ or. civic leaders, scout master^ and Iroop. leaders who direct the 94 Scout Troops to which #1855 Scouts belong. ' Appeal is being made through < local committees to the newspapers of the area to give every assistance possible to make the opening of Camp Rock Enon opening ceremonies a success, even beyond —the expectations of the committee.
