Sperryville School

Graduation exercises for the seventh grade of Sperryville Elementary School, conducted last Wednesday evening in the Sperryville Auditorium, at 8 p.m., closed the door to "grade” school as it ushered 62 youths into Rappahannock County High School.

Julian Brown opened the ceremony with a scripture reading, followed by a prayer from Rev/ Paul Thompson. '■>,

Buddy Devers welcomed the guests to the graduation exercises and the seventh grade graduates sang av gay selection entitled* "Merry Life"" Misses Rachel , > Deal and Jane Hitt expressed their love of the American Way of Life in "It’s Good To Be An American.” •

The Seventh Grade Roll Call of five pointers was read by Miss Dotty Sisk and Miss Judy Hawkins proudly read the perfect attendance roll of excellence.
