Edward Carroll Hudson passed away Friday night at the home of , his sister, Mrs. Floyd Compton, after a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Thach at the home near Washington, at 10 o’clock Monday morning with burial in Staunton. _Mr. Hudson was bom in Luray— on September 20, 1891, the son of Anna Lee Hudsoi^ and E. W. Hudson, who preceded him in death. Mr. Hudson is survived by two sisters:, MrS.0 Jessie Rowzie and Mrs.1 Floyd E. Compton of Washington.
