1 he firth frame was a lucky one for the Chiefs as they scored 3 runs on 2 errors, a walk by Settle and a single by E. Foster The A. C. failed to score in either the fifth or the sixth, and the Chiefs added nothing in the sixth.

Both teams rallied ,in the seventh with the Chiefs bringing . across home plate 3 runs and the Athletic Club, 2. A walk by Miller, double by Jr. Hawkins, single •by Pete Clater, and again a double by B. Clater. accounted for the Chiefsrscores as the A. C. tallied their 2 on singles by Bill North’ and Bobby Menefee and on an error.

Both sides bore down trying hard for a score but though several reached bases on safe hits, the final two innings saw no further scorings.

Sunday’s game on the Flint Hill diamond, the fourth this .season between the two county teams, was a splendid example of friendly rivalry. A friendy feeing prevailed throughout the game and good sportsmanship was the order of the day.
