The first Quarterly Conference for the year for Rappahannock^ Charge met on Friday evening in the local M. E. church with the Rev. Aubey , Hughes, „ District ^Superintendent, presidihg. Each church was well represented and much routine business discussed It is much regretted that the Rev. H. G. Thatch has entered the veterans Hospital, Durham, N.C. for an operation. It was planned to have a supply for each service at the different churches on the change during his hospitalization and convalescence. #

Set For Friday
Registration for the 1954-55 school session of Jane’s Private School for pupils 4, 5, and 6 will be held Friday, August 20 from 9. to 11 a.m. in the school building, 145 West 9th Street ih Front Royal.
All parents registering children for the first grade are requested •to bring the child’s birth certify cate. If you are unable to come, phone 1243 Front Royal. If the child was registered* in the spring it is not necessary to register them again at this time. Jane’s Private School will open Friday, September 3 at 9 o’clock.
