Farmers To Elect
ASC Committeemen
In September
County and community committeemen to administer ASC programs wil be elected by farmers in September, E. D. Duncan, Chairman of the State ASC Committee, announced today.
This year the elections will be held by mail with ballots mailed to farmers from the ASC county offices on or before September 15 with ballots required to be returned1 so as to be received in the .county office by September 23.
The machinery for holding elections is quite different from that used in prior years, said Mr. Duncan. The regulations of the Secretary of Agriculture have been revised to provide for important elections functions being performed by County Election Boards and Community Election Boards.
