Persons elected chairmen of the community committees will serve as delegates to county conventions to be held on September 27 for the purpose of electing the county committees. Newly elected county and community committees will assume office on October 1, 1954.
Committeemen who have served three consecutive years will not be eligible for reelection this year, Duncan said, except that if all three members of the county committee have served for- the last three years, one of them may be( reelected. Also officers of farm organizations, members of ASC Review Committees, and FCIC Crop Insurance agents, are not eligible to serve as county committeemen. * , :
