Miss Paula Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill, has been selected as the 4-H honoree for the month of August.
Paula, who is now cqpipleting her fifth year of club work, has carried to conclusion a total of 8 projects. Currently she is concentrating on an ironing and bread making project. However, her main interest throughout these 8 projects has beensthe planning and preparing of meals. ^~'t^£dcrship * ability has' been demonstrated by Paula, as sKe served as president of her club in 1953, and secretary, song leader .. .and—game leader in—j»r«ge4i»g~years. Among her other activities in connection with club work were participation in 2 county fairs, 4-H Share The Fun Contest, Rural Life Sunday Programs, and talks to Parent-Teacher Associations on the workings of a 4-H club.
Parallel witle her 4-H work, ' Paula is active in church activities. She is now president of the Flint Hill Youth Fellowship, having been vice-president last year. She is also a member of the church choir. .
