Half a million new small town folks. Half a million new customers, one for every three that were there before. But will they put down new roots and expand their new energy on the community? Will they spend their new money in your town?
It will depend upon what they find there. If they find a cold shoulder when they try to join the civic clubs or help’ with school problems or build a new recreation area or an addition to the church, they will live on there because they must and not because they want to.
