Every week our trash can is lit■ tered with unopened mail, letters addressed to the Blue Ridge Guide Washington, Va.,.the Washington Times, Rappahannock Herald and other newspapers that • no longer exist, or drat have never existed ! in the county. Likewise there is often a deluge of letters directed to personalities long deceased. This type of mail is distasteful to say the least. It shows inefficiency and thoughtlessness and betrays the writer’s real interest in the one written to.
