CIRCLE MEETS WITH MRS. V. R. UPDIKE The Lou Keyser Circle met with Mrs. Virgil Updike, Thursday, January 13 at 7:30. Mrs. Clarence ' Racer was program chairman for January. Each member read a New Year’s selection. The session was then discussed. Mrs. Bruce Bowie reported on the Christmas boxes .given. It was decided to sell vanilla. Each member selling a certain number! of bottles. The following presons were ’ present: Mrs. Clarence Racer, Mrs. Willie Payne, Mrs. Virgil Updike, Mrs. C. G. Reid, Mrs. Bruce Bowie, Miss Gladys Payne and Miss Margaret Compton. At the conclusion, delicious refreshments were served and a social hour was enjoyed watching televfifen. The society will riieet with Mrs. Willie Payne in February.

CHURCH SERVICES .

There will be worship services at Five Forks Baptist Church, Sunday, January 30 at 11 a Rev. Warren Corbin will be . speaker. The public is invited to attend this service.

Preaching services will be peld at Mt. Salem Baptist Church,’at Rock Mills 'this coming Sunday aftrenoon at three o’clock. Rev. Joseph Graver will preach, and all members and friends are invitejd to attend.
