Mrs. Harry L. Smith was taken to the University Hospital on Saturday night aftpr suffering a severe attack of' gall bladder trouble for observation and possibly an operation. Mrs. Perle Coffey went in the ambulance with her later returning to her home. On Monday, her mother, Mrs., George Brown was in Charlottesville to be with her daughter.
Misses Ebba, Della and Beulah Hitt and Miss Nettie Bontz spent Sunday in Alexandria where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rodda.
