The Slate Mills Home Demonstration Club met Friday night, January 7th at the home of Mrs. Robert Boyd, with the President, Mrs. .Joe Powers Conducting" foe business session. There were three guests: Mr?. Jessie Rowzie of Washington, Mrs. Carl Reese of Norton, and Miss Margaret Nichols. Miss Nichols accepted an invitation to become a member of the club. • The program was in charge of the Federation Goal Chairman, Mis. W. W. Kennedy, on foe sub: ject “Health and Safety,” and included among other interesting presentations a discussion of the Rappahannock County Dietary Survey.
