Mrs. Jack ^carman, organist, presented a program of nuptial music .including “At Dawning,” “O Perfect Love,” "Because,” and the traditional wedding marches. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a princess style gown of white satin with a bouffant ballerina skirt. The low cut dress was topped with a brief fitted satin bolero with standing embroidered lace cdllar and long tight sleeves fastened with covered buttons and tapering to lace trimmed calla points over the hands. She wore white satin shoes and her elbow length veil of nylon illusion was attached to a tiara encrusted with seed pearls. She carried a white prayer book, a gift of the groom’s mother, topped with a white orchid showered with satin streamers caught in lovers knots and featuring stephanotis.
Miss Peggy Ann Green attended her sister as maid of honor. She wore a satin and net gown of powder blue with a ballerina skirt and a cut-away jacket. HFP shoes were of matching color and her head dress of. powder blue velvet was trimmed with pearls and rhinestones. She carried a nosegay of pink and blue carnations.
Newbill Miller of V.P.L, Blacksburg, brother of the groom, served as best man.
For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Green chose a light brown dress trimmed with dark brown velvet, olive green accessories, and a corsage of yellow roses. Mrs. Miller, mother of the groom, wore a' navy' blue crepe dress with matching Accessories and a corsage of pink roses.
