Immediately following the wedding a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents. [ The bride’s table, covered with a beautiful lace cloth, was centered with an arrangement of fern and white carnations in a crystal bowl, and accented; by white candles in crystal candelabra. The three-tiered wedding cake was topped with a minature bride and groom. Mrs. I. F. Sandridge, sister of die bride, served at the punch bowl and Mrs. Mason Strother, aunt of the bride, cut the cake.
Following the reception, the bride chose for her going away costume a suit dross Of winter white wool. The fitted jacket was adorned with rhinestones and seed pearls.. Her accessories were of black and she wore the orchid from her bridal bouquet. .
After a short wedding trip, the couple will be at home at, 3463 Howard Road, Richmond 23.
Miss Green received her B. 'S. degree from Madison. College, Harrisonburg, where she was an active member of die Business Club and Zeta Tau Alpha social fraternity. For the past two and one-half years she has made her home in Kingsport where she was a member of the Kingsport Theater Guild, Beta Sigma Phi
