Mr. Miller attended HampdenSydney College,'. Farmville, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha social fraternity. After serving two years in the armed forces, he was graduated with a B. S. degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg, where he was a member of the German Club. He is presently employed at the Sinclair Oil Co., Richmond.
The bride-elect was honored with a dinner party at Skoby’s Kingsport, Tennessee, given by the office girls of the Research Laboratories. Miss Betty Lou Johnson, Miss Betsy Lee, and Miss Margie Preisinger were hostesses to a kitchen shower at their home on Carolina Avenue, Kingsport. Mrs. Mason Strother, aunt of the bride, was hostess to a rehearsal dinner for members of the wed'ding party and relatives at her home on Falmouth Street, Warren ton. Mrs. Miller, mother of the groom, was hostess to a breakfast at her home, Maple Springs, Washington, for members of the Wedding party and relatives.
