Mr. and Mrs. L. J. I umer and daughter, Carolyn had Sunday dinner in Culpeper.

Downing Wood and Misses Nancy and Alice Wood motored to Washington, D. C., Monday morning to meet Miss Mary Miller Wood and accompany her home.

Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid, Jr., of Jackson Heights, L*>ng Island and Joe Reid of New York arrived Friday evening at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid. Joe returned to New York Monday evening, while Mr. and Mrs. Reid remained for a visit of several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie were Friday visitors in Washington, D. C.

Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke and son, Dave, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke. Richard “Dickie,” who has been spending some time with his grandparents, returned home with his mother and father, and little brother.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Petty and son, Jimmy visited Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Naide in Oella, Maryland last week. Enroute home they called on Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lillard in Falls Church.
