Mrs. Kuth Kennedy was nosiess {or Slate Mills H. D. Club Friday night. Mrs. Betty Powers opened with a devotional “Homes May Change Lives." A picnic was planned for August - 5th. The demonstration was on Salads and Salad Dressings.

Milkshakes flavored with crushed banana, strawberry or other fruit purees make good between meal and end of the day snacks, remind V.P.I. nutritionists. Take small tomatoes and hollow them out. Combine small shrimp, chopped cooked eggs and cucumber mixed with a tart mayonnaise. Fill tomatoes with this salad mixture, chill in the refrigerator and then serve on lettuce cups. Add plate of finger sandwiches or potato chips and have a perfect luncheon combination.
