turned home Monday. The Reverend G. M. Profitt, his wife and sons, Stanley and Alvin, stopped in Washington for a brief hello to friends, while they were enroute on a vacation trip to Rhode Island. Mr. Profitt reports that the church which his charge is building is progressing rapidly. The Profitts were dinner guests Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Latham.
The Honorable J. R. H. Alexander, visiting judge, was a luncheon guest of the Clerk of Court and other county officials, Monday.
