The ever-popular theme, a home town t>oy making good, is very evident in the story of Floyd Hitt’e Garage near Ben Venue, actually three businesses: garage, trucking, and grocery store, rolled into one.
Floyd is a native of Rappahan-* nock, the son of Joseph Hitt of Amissville. He graduated from Washington High School and married r Iucy Mae Smith of Amissville. They are the parents of. two boys, Floyd and David.
