Lights To Stay On
In Flint Hill ;
The Flint Hill Street Light Fund still lacks $20, which must be in by the end of December, in ' order to maintain the lights. This report was made by treasurer Mrs. Carson Lillard, in a recent meeting of the Flint "Hill Homemakers.
Donations are acceptable from any citizen not yet contacted by the club members. If the money is not raised the people who have paid will be reimbursed and the lights will not be turned on after December 31.

The December meeting of Slate Mills Baptist Missionary Society was held December 14 at the church. The devotional was given by the pastor, Rev. Clem A. Walters. Mrs. C. M. Ramey,, president, presented the program, “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God”, stressing the power of prayer, secular press interest in prayer, and need for prayer, with special readings by Miss Lizzie Miller, Mrs. George A. Mothers and Mrs. Carl M. Reese.
