The Hitt garage Was built in October of 1954. Feeling the need to enlarge, adding to his garage business, an addition to the white cinderblock building was made, with Cletus Printz the builder.

In the garage end of the business, Floyd is assisted by Lloyd Bywaters and an experienced body and painting department. The garage has just purchased a heavy duty wrecker that is on call 24-hours a day. Mrs. Lillian Frazier officiates in the grocery store, and the truck drivers for the sand and gravel business include Roy Wharton, Waverly Frazier and Edward Armentrout.
