Mrs. Murphy Weakley, who has been on the sick list, spent the week end in' Richmond with her husband. She left Monday morning for Covington, where her parents make their home, for a visit with them. While there she will be under the doctor’s care.

There was quite a lot of excitement in Peola Mills Saturday morning, when the Sperryville add Washington Fire Companies came roaring through enroute to the fire at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin White. The pump house was burned, but the main house was saved.
