Saturday night Rev. and Mrs. Calvin S. Fender entertained at a gay Christmas party a group of about thirty young people and a few of their parent* from the *Etlan Church of the Nazarene, of which Mr. Fender is pastor.

Mrs. Fred leer Coates and her daughter, Mrs. Rochard H. Boyd of Etlan, were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Boyd.

Word has befcn received that Mrs. Harold W. Dickenshcets, who has not been able to visit her Slate Mills hoqie for several weeks, has recovered from her recent bout with acute bursitis, and is now able to resume her duties as organist at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Brice Biggers of Holly Spring Farm, spent Friday in Washington, D.C.

On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Joseph G. Powers were guests of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Brown in Washington, D.C.
