Miss Gladys Payne was hostess to the Lou Keyset Circle of the Washington Baptist Church, Friday evening,1 December 16, at her home near Washington.
Miss Mary Miller Wood was in charge of the program, which centered on the Royal Service program ‘Prayer’ and included individual Christmas readings. Miss Payne and Mrs. Willie Payne sang two duets: “Joy To The World” and “Silent Night”.
George Payne was the honoree at the Christmas meeting. Among the guests were Mrs. C. R. Racer, Miss Mary Miller Wood, Mrs. Willie Payne, and Mrs. George Payne.
Delicious refreshments were served by the hostess.
