The score by quarters was as follows: First, 12 to 1$ with Herndon in the lead; second, 26 to 24, Rappahannock having the two point lead; third, 40 jto 30 with Rappahannock opening the gap between the teams and jin the last quarter Herndon put up! a last ditch fight and brought the! score up to 47 to 41.
