Sperryville and Mrs. Thelma Russell of Warrenton were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols had as their weekend guests Bobby Lee, dale, and Linda Whitehead of Richmond. Their mother Mrs. Robert Whitehead who is a patient in Georgetown University Hospital is rapidly recovering. Mrs. Whitehead i* the sister of Mr. Nichols.

Mr. Randolph Jones of Farmville is spending a few days with his sister and brother-in-law, M^. and Mrs. J. C. Reynolds.

Mrs. Israel Presgraves who Terentiy returned home from Warren Memorial Hospital continues to gain strength.

Word was received Monday of the death of Mr. Joseph C. Lizard Hagerstown Md. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Judd Lillard formerly of Flint Hill. Miss Sallie Lillard, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lillard, Mrs. Bertha Lillard, Mr. Jack Lillard, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Lillard attended the funeral in Hagerstown, Wednesday. Mr. Lillard had been ill for some time in the Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va.

Mrs. Frank Cary spent several days with her sister, Mrs. Angus Hopkins and family in Woodstock last week.
