The new Boy Scout theme “Onward for God and My Country,” will be officially launched in TwoRivers District on Sunday, February 6, 1956 at 2:30 p.m. from the stage of Warren Coudty High School in Front Royal,
At that time a special areawide Scout rally will take place, featuring remarks on the hew theme by Rev. Lawrence H. Roller, pastor of Good Shephefd Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Roller will outline how each individual boy can live up to the theme by doing his duty to God and Country.
A chorus, composed entirely of registered Cubs, Scouts and Explorers of the district, will present several numbers, including several familiar hymns. The chorus will be'under the supervision of Mrs. Virginia Rives.

The entire public is urged to attend this afternoon of true Scouting. Parents of boys active in the movement, and parents of prospective members are especially expected to be on hand. 0f‘ course, all Cubs, Scouts and Explorers are invited.
