**Parsonage Club*9
The Rev. A. D. Good son was guest at the Women’s Society of Christian Service meeting Thursday evening and told the ladies of a proposed club to be organized to help defray the cost of the parsonage. .This club, to be called the Parsonage Club is to be made up of people who will give $1 each month toward the note due on the building. The offering will be in addition to what is being given at present, and if enough members join, will shorten the time of the note, thereby saving interest. Members of the Society agreed to join this Club and try to get other member*.

Mrs. Z. H. Sealock who was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Brown in Alexandria returned to her home at the Lee Highway Hotel on Saturday. , . Mrs. W. C. Stout who has been •spending the past two weeks with her son-in-law and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. James Adams and fam. ily in Washington, D. C. has returned to her apartment in town.
Mrs. W. W. Sealock who has spent the past two weeks here dividing her time with Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, left Sunday for • her home in Falls Church. Her grandson,. Pepper Palmer drove here to make the return trip with her. He had with him Charles Boswell.
Miss Dolly Smith of Washington, D. C. who was a week end guest in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Brown, returned on Sunday evening to resume her studies at Anacostia High School where she is a pupil.
Miss Ruth Menefee and her nephew. Buck Lewis spent Saturday in Arlington where Mrs. Della B. Howard entertained at dinner for Mrs. Daisy M. Yates who was ''celebrating her birthday. Among other gufsts were Mrs. Z. H. Sealock and Mrs. W. C. Stout.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cozzo and Miss Joan Aylor of Arlington were week end guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs, H. H. Aylor. Other guests on Sunday in the ■" Aylor home were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Thornhill of Culpeper Mrs, . E. B. Cary and' her daughter, Mrs. J$mes Crane.
Minor Lewis has returned after a week’s visit with his father in Clifton Fftrge.
