Last Rites For
Copt, H, C, Warwick
C^pt. Henry C- Warwick, 60, an officer in. the Coast and Geodetic Survey for more than 30 years, died of cerebral hemorrhage Saturday at a Lynchburg (Va.) hospital. He had been in ill health for some time.
Capt. Warwick served in Washington in the mid-l930s and again from 1946 to his retirement in 1949. He also had two tours of duty in the Phillippines. He joined the Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1918.
ffe attended Virginia Military Institute and received a degree in engineering from North Carolina State College.
After retiring, Capt. Warwick lived for several years at his home, Rock Bottom, at Washington, Va. He recently moved to Lynchburg.
His wife, Dorothy May, died last May. He is survived by his son, William Massie Warwick II of Lynchburg; a sister, Mrs. L. P. Williams of Charleston, W. Va., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Chambers Funeral Home, 1400 Chapin street N.W., wfth burial with military honors in Arlington Cemetery. The Rev. John R. Frizzell, Jr., officiated at the burial service.
