There was a beautiful surprise birthday party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jackson for their mother, Mrs. 'Hattie Jackson. A*beautiful birthday cake and plenty of good food was served.

There will be a chicken dinner at the Hopewell Baptist Church. Sperryville, sponsored by the ladies of the Missionary Circle, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Price 50c.
