Appeals were made Sunday from the pulpits of,Rappahannock Churches for help for the Hungarians. t
The Red Cross is asking for $5,000,000 for this relief work, and (those wishing to contribute are asked to send their contributions to Mrs. A M. Vemer, Washington, Va., who is treasurer of the Rappahannock Chapter of the American Red Crofc.
The Rev. John D. Divers is acting as temporary chairman of the Chapter until a permanent one can be secured.
