Fifty-two persons (sixty were' invited), thirty-six men and sixteen women, attended the dinner at Cab Inn on Tuesday, December 4th, to discuss Rappahannock’s opportunity to help with the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. T. I. Martin of Culpeper, member of the Hospital Campaign Executive Committee, intro- - duced Mr. John *T Rogers and Mr. Giles H. Miller, Jr. Both gave interesting and informative talks and answered questions.
It was pointed out that $450,- ’V 000, or 45% must be raised by the ' counties the hospital will serve » befo-e application can be made for the $550,000 the federal government will give under the Hill-* Buton Act.
