Rev. Parrish Transferred
To Fairfax
Rev. William Parrish has been transferred from Trinity Episcopal Church to act as assistant to The Rev. Raymond W. Davis at Truro Episcopal Church in Fairfax, Va. Rev. Parrish and his family will leave the latter part of June.
Boy Scouts Attend
Camporee
Troop 64, W ashington, Va. B.S.A. accompanied by C. B. Palmer, were among those of the Shenandoah Area Council attending the recent Spring Camporee held at the Isaac Walton Park near Browntown. The individuals of the troop attending were Frank and Page Moffett, Tim Keating, David Palmer, Sam Snead, Ned Jones, Roger Hawkins and Jimmy Jenkins.
The campers arrived at the camp site about 1:30 p.m. amd immediately began pitching tents. This job had hardly been completed when torrential rains began to fall. The boy’s training paid handsome dividends for they and their bedding remained dry and secure.
Come of the camp activities were eliminated because of thte weather but everyone’s time was pretty well taken up by the Treasure Hunt. All Patrols were given a long list of, items to find and bring to be checked by their leader. Points were earned by accomplish -
