4-H Share-The-Fun
Contests Held
The annual 4-H Share-The-Fun Contest was held Thursday, May 19th at the high school.
The Senior winning act was a skit given by Tish Kilby and Judy Faye Lillard of the Sperryville Senior 4-H Clubr'fhey will represent the County in the State Contest at 4-H Short Course in June.
Receiving second place was a dance by Judy Kay Lillard and Joan Hickerson from the Flint Hill Senior Club. They will receive a year’s Subscription to the National 4-H News.
The Forest Grove band won first place in the Junior Contest. This group will receive a scholarship to 4-H Camp. In this band were Ellis Smith, David Woodward, Larry Jolliffe, and Barry Jolliffe.
Also receiving blue ribbons on their acts were Dorothy Reeves and Janice Dodson of the Sperryville III Club, and Kay Johnston and Lillian Reeves of the Washington Senior Club. Both of these groups did a pantomime and Donajd Lee Keyser from the Sperryville I Club singing and playing.
