Lindsey, are* manager, urg?d that all old directories be destroyed when the mew ones are received. Many additions, changes and deletions are reflected in the new issue. Corrections have been made to December 15, 1960. After verification, Mr. Liqdsey suggested that all local emergency call numbers and frequently called numbers be transferred to page one of the new directory.
No change was made in the first and last listing in the Speriyville section. William E. Abbott is the first listing and J, M. Yowefl b the last listing.
Any new lbtings or ones which have been changed since September 1 are shown in the directory with "all-nUmbers”, 987 preceding the telephone number instead of Yu 7. This does not involve any technical change since the dialing of the numbers represents the same as dialing the letters. “All-number calling" (ANC) system of numbering provides for 800 dialing combinations as compared to 540 combinations with the two letters and five numbers. Mr. Lindsey stated that these additional dialing combinations are needed ip «he large and fast growing network of direct distance dialing. As necessary, all numbers in die Speriyville exchange will be changed to the prefix 987.
Weight Control Group
Meets February 9th
The meeting of the Weight Control Group scheduled for last week was postponed due to the snow. This group will meet next Thursday, February 9th at 7:30 p.m. at die Health Office, j _

4-H Demonstration Contest
The 4-H girls’ Demonstration Contest will be held Saturday, February 11th at the Episcopal Parish Hall in Washington, beginning at 10 a.m. 4-H girls are urged to enter die contest by giving demonstrations on a project she b now taking. j
There will be both a junior and senior contest held thb year. .The senior winner will compete in the Dbtnct Demonstration Contest to be held at Madison on April 15th.
