Continued from page two has already set an orchard which he plans to prune with such a piece of equipment. He has planted his trees very close together and will handle them as a hedge. After talkwith Mr. Friday, I am nearly convinced that when a practical piece of pruning machinery is developed he will be in the lead.
“I do not know of any outfit that is producing the equipment we are alking about for apple orchards and I believe it is premature to consider the demonstration of such equipment but on the other hand, I think that we should keep our eyes open and as soon as anything develops which would be even remotely practical, we should try to get it in front of the growers in order that they might pass their iudement on it.
