Mrs, Emory Conners was shot with a 23 calibre pistol last Thursday nigh* at her home in Wood•ville
The bullet entered her chest and lodged in her spine. She is paralyzed from her waist down and doctors see little hope of a complete recovery. t Charged with the shooting is, Milton Dodson of F. Valley, who went to the Comic, • home after being ordered by the court to keep away. Mr. Conners was at work at Rochester Ropes in Culpeper at the time the shooting occurred.
Rappahannock Rescue ^ Squad took Ma Conners to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and she was later transferred to the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
The accused, Milton Dodson, pleaded guilty to “malicious shooting with intent to maim, disfigure, disable or kill,” at his preliminaryhearing yesterday before Judge B. M. Miller, County judge.
